Practicing on the french version of “Sometimes I Forget” that I’m going to record next week. I don’t speak a word french so I write it down in my own way so that I know how to pronounce the words.

Hahaha, I presume Agnes is trying to write “Frensh” in Swedish, the way it sounds but in Swedish. This is one of the reasons I love this girl, her ability to smile at herself! Keep up the good work Agnes

Well…I can translate the french there is, as I can recognize some words in french… This is a mix of french and swedish…I’m not making fun of Agnes (I love her too much for that) because I’m french, but actually french is a wonderful language, but it’s only problem is that it is difficult…
Let me watch it closer and I’ll give you the translation later on, guys (and if you want I’ll give you the good spelling.)

Antoine: It must be difficult to interpret her phonetic writing - and using swedish åäö doesn’t make it simpler!
For example, when she writes “lö kör” it means how she should pronounce the french “le coeur” (the heart).

Well well well…I translated all the song “Sometimes I forget” in french and then I compared my translation with Agnes’ one…the problem is that it doesn’t fit together…I mean the words doesn’t correspond to Agnes’ones

I hope i has a sense, because I spent half an hour to translate in french, correct and try to put in a correct french my translation of the entire song…She willn’t use it, I know but this is my french version
Dan…why do you think she wants to record her songs in a french version ?
I always presumed it was because the songs would be better received in France if they were in French rather than English. Do you think it would be appreciated more that way? Or would it not matter so much?
She has a good french pronunciation when she sings in french…but sometimes it’s unclear and I think the french version is good…
But I think it’s a good idea to make an effort as she does to try do french versions even if she doesn’t know anything about french…On french radios, even if of course listen it 24/24 everyday, I hear sometimes “On and On” in french or “Release Me”…
In my opinion, she isn’t popular enough, because if she was, there would be more fans on blogs or she could have won against Lady Gaga, which is very popular (she is more heard than on and on !) …No, really, the french public isn’t hot…Even if I’d love to hear her in tour in France, (she is more popular in UK and US and that’s a better deal for her…)
Forget about the stupid thing I said…I’ll try to fight so her popularty increase in France…I’ll create a website for her 100% in french…any suggestion ? answer this post and any help is the welcome !

There are some few blogs, yes made by french female fans but there are a little number of fans…I’m translating some songs from english to french for one blog as I did 10 years of english…I’m better than them on this point…that’s rare for a french to do so long studies of english…haha
But I’m a real french ! And also Swiss
Anyway, do you have any ideas if she takes a look at the comments made by all the fans ?
I look for some help for a project I have but I can’t really talk about this here…

c’est vrai ce que tu dis plus haut (January 30th, 2010 at 1:19 am) sur la diffusion de ses titres en radio mais ce que tu oublies de dire c’est qu’elle est beaucoup plus diffusée sur les autres radios en province. Il faudrait passer le message a son entourage pour que, lors de ses prochaines venues en France, elle accepte les invitations qui lui sont faites en dehors du périphérique !! C’est peut-être moins easy que de rester sur Paris mais tellement plus efficace et concret pour ses fans Francais

non, sérieux je ss ravi qu’elle soit bcp diffusée en province, mais deja elle connait pas la France et en + si elle vient en province de serait galère pour elle…
Elle vient pas bcp en France (3 fois : Juin et Septembre et Decembre dans le 6/9 d’NRJ) (soi-disant, elle aime Paris) Et sur ces 3 venues elle a fait un seul concert, prive a Lille (ou le public français n’était pas très chaud…)
